As a player in this market for a number of years, Novel is now a major sugar trader on the African continent.

This is a significant market as Africa imports some 3.3 million tonnes of brown sugar and 4.3 million tonnes of white sugar each year.

Novel sources the product principally from Brazil but, taking advantage of its network, is expanding into new source markets so as to be more competitive in its destination countries.

Novel’s goal is to extend its business relationships in Africa, in order to become an unparalleled sugar trader on this continent.
